The proprietor is absolutely amazing - so helpful, generous, and attentive to our needs and desires. She gave us fantastic suggestions for places to visit and dine, and her driving directions were spot-on. The breakfast was mind-blowingly delicious and catered to our individual tastes. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We had an absolutely wonderful time and highly recommend this place!

As young people, we absolutely loved our stay at The Old Parsonage. The Georgian property was stunning, and our host Marilyn went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. The rooms were magnificent with comfortable beds, crisp white linens, and an abundance of cushions. The little touches like homemade bread and flowers in our room added a special touch. The breakfast setting around a big table was beautiful, and Marilyn was always ready to provide good information about the surrounding area. The drinks, bathroom extras, and chocolates on the bed were all top quality. The whole ambience of the place was elegant and light, and the shower room was wonderfully warm. And of course, the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for more!

Felt like royalty, no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at The Old Parsonage for a relaxing weekend getaway. The proprietor's attentiveness and helpfulness were outstanding. From recommending local attractions to providing tailored breakfasts, she went above and beyond. The charmingly decorated and impeccably clean bedrooms, each with private baths and comfortable beds, made for a delightful stay. The house itself, located in a beautiful village, was a picture-perfect setting. I highly recommend The Old Parsonage for a unique and enjoyable experience.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Stayed in a lovely B&B for a city break. The beautiful house was located in a charming village near popular attractions, making it an ideal base. The host was very helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure their guests had a comfortable stay. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious and included homemade bread and fresh flowers from the garden.

There were no nearby dining options, which meant a car was necessary to drive to the closest restaurant. the price was a little steep for the area, but it was still worth it for the overall experience.

Staying at The Old Parsonage Bed And Breakfast was an enchanting and magical experience for our family. The Georgian property was stunning, and our host Marilyn went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From the homemade bread and flowers in our room to the beautiful breakfast setting around a big table, every little touch made us feel special. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, including the beautiful grounds of Dartington Hall and the famous fair in September. We can't wait to return!

For dads, it would be great if there were more activities specifically catering to children.

the house was gorgeously decorated with historically accurate art and furniture. the beds were incredibly comfortable, providing the best night's sleep I've had in ages. the breakfast in the morning was delicious and the host was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.

The only downside was that I couldn't stay longer to fully enjoy all the amenities and explore the surrounding area.
